The power behind Shenzhen Port’s container innovation
Shenzhen's foreign trade transcripts carried by containers in the first half of this year are hard to come by. The container data of Shenzhen has reached a new high, which shows that the internationalization level of Shenzhen's economy has further improved, and the anti-risk capability and the space for manoeuvre manufactured in Shenzhen have been further strengthened.

On July 23, Yantian International ushered in the maiden voyage of the "Mediterranean Gulson", the world's largest container ship. With a total length of 400 meters and a width of 62 meters, the wheel can carry 23,000 standard containers and a total tonnage of 230,000 tons. It is the largest container ship in the global shipping market. The route will lead Shenzhen manufacturing to Southeast Asia and the Mediterranean, and expand the new space of Shenzhen's foreign trade.
According to the latest data released by Shenzhen Customs, Shenzhen's exports in the first half of the year were 757.14 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points over the previous five months. In the first half of the year, Shenzhen’s total exports ranked first among large and medium-sized cities in the Mainland for 26 consecutive years.
