Integrated Logistics Service Provider
Divide them into two categories based on whether they own assets
Asset-based suppliers: They have agents, have their own trucks and warehouses, and manage the operation of logistics assets.
Non-asset-based supplier: It is a logistics management company that does not own or lease logistics assets. They provide human resources and systems to professionally manage various logistics functions of customers.
Asset-based suppliers can take a variety of flexible operations for a variety of different services that customers purchase from them. Non-asset-based suppliers are less flexible in their operations due to geographical limitations of their facilities and technical reasons.
From the price point of view, because the asset-based suppliers operate their own logistics operations, if the assets operate efficiently, their prices are lower than those of non-asset-based suppliers.
