Latest developments in KMTC container ship explosion

Last weekend, the news of the fire of KMTC's container ship in Linchaban Port, Thailand, swept the cargo owner's friend circle. At that time, many insiders speculated that the cause of the accident was related to calcium hypochlorite.

Four days after the incident, the accident has made the latest progress, the speculation has been confirmed, and the dangerous goods have been hammered! According to preliminary investigations by investigators, a total of 18 containers were loaded with chemicals, of which 13 containers contained calcium hypochlorite and 5 containers contained chlorinated paraffin. The shipper did not declare dangerous goods. On Saturday, the goods were also considered to be dolls. In other words, it is clearly a dangerous product, but it is declared as a toy doll!
